WATERMED (Bacteriostatic Water for Injections) is a sterile solution specifically formulated for use with medications that need to be diluted or dissolved in a water-based medium prior to injection. This highly purified, sterilized water contains 0.9% Benzyl Alcohol and is used to prepare medications at the correct consistency for injection. Bacteriostatic water (BW) has a pH level of approximately 5.7.

WHAT IT IS:

This solution is intended solely for the dilution or dissolution of drugs for intravenous, intramuscular, or subcutaneous injection, following the manufacturer’s instructions for the specific medication.

HOW TO USE:

Keep stored below 30°C. Shield from light. Do not freeze.
